Black Enterprise Magazine Recognizes Ameren Illinois Chairman, President and CEO
Richard J. Mark, Ameren Illinois chairman,
president and CEO, named one of 100
most powerful executives in corporate
America by Black Enterprise Magazine.
Black Enterprise Magazine has named Ameren Illinois Chairman, President and CEO Richard J. Mark as one of its 100 Most Powerful Executives in America for 2012.
Mark is featured in the September issue, along with leaders from such major U.S. companies as Xerox, Federal Express and McDonald's Corporation. The magazine has been honoring African Americans at the highest levels of America's largest companies since 1988.
"Mr. Mark's inclusion on this list is evidence of the undeniable progress and contributions of African American executive talent in corporate America, and we could not be more enthusiastic about recognizing his achievements," said Earl G. Graves, Jr., president and CEO, Black Enterprise.
Since 2002, Mark has held various leadership positions within Ameren Corporation. Mark has a strong operations background. He is very active in the community and attuned to the customer's desire for safe, reliable and affordable energy.
