Ameren Illinois is building a new state-of-the-art electric training center on a nearly 12-acre site in Belleville, Ill. The training center will enable Ameren Illinois to enhance the skills of its current workforce and train new hires to build and maintain a modernized electric infrastructure.
The training center is expected to go into service late this year, with up to 60 employees in training at any given time.
Ameren Illinois will create hundreds of jobs over the course of their 10-year Modernization Action Plan (MAP) - 200 full-time positions are available now. See
