• In 2003, divested two coal-fired electric generating facilities and two 15-megawatt combustion turbines to a newly created non-regulated company - AmerenEnergy Resources Generating Company. The power is marketed by a non-regulated affiliate, Ameren Energy Marketing.
• 210,000 electric customers over 3,700 square miles
• 213,000 natural gas customers over 4,500 square miles in central and east central Illinois
• Service territory includes the Illinois communities of Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, Washington, Lincoln, Morton, Tuscola and Springfield (natural gas only)
