Martin J. Lyons became senior vice president and chief financial officer for Ameren on May 1, 2009. In his current position, Lyons is responsible for tax reporting and compliance, investor relations, accounting and financial reporting and commodity risk management.
Prior to this position, Lyons served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer since 2008. He served as vice president and controller from 2003 to 2008 after joining Ameren Corporation in 2001 as controller.
Before joining Ameren, Lyons served as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ St. Louis office. There, he provided auditing services to companies in a variety of industries, with a focus on utility clients.
Lyons earned a bachelor's of science degree in accounting from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri. Lyons is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
