Natural Gas Equipment Rebates

Through Dec. 31 2008, AmerenUE residential natural gas customers can receive rebates when they purchase ENERGY STAR®-listed natural gas fueled furnaces or invest in a programmable thermostat—or both! The total available rebate is $225. Other opportunities are available for commercial natural gas customers. Find out more about the Missouri Energy Efficient Natural Gas Equipment Rebate Program.

Here are some simple things you can do today to help control your natural gas bill:

	Enroll in Budget Billing to make your payments more predictable
	Download Our “Cut Your Home Utility Bills—Conserve!” Poster to get practical tips for saving energy and money
	Review Our Energy Saving Tips for more low-cost and even no-cost tips. (Here’s an easy one—turn down your thermostat. For each degree you lower your thermostat, you can cut 2-3 percent off your energy usage!)

  
Help for Families with Special Needs
Ameren’s Dollar More and Warm Neighbors (AmerenIP) programs help Missouri and Illinois families stay warm in the winter.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help eligible low-income households, elderly persons and people with disabilities pay for energy services. LIHEAP is administered by state agencies. Grants are based on the number of persons in the household, total income and the type of fuel used to heat the home. Find out more about LIHEAP:
