Mary Tackett (forefront, left), widow of deceased AmerenUE Employee Robert Tackett, accepted a Missouri Senate resolution honoring her husband who was killed July 25 while working to restore customers affected by devastating summer storms. Also holding the resolution is its sponsor, State Sen. Tim Green, (D-13).
The resolution was introduced March 14 before the full Senate on the Senate Floor of the Missouri State Capitol. Members of Tackett family and several friends are pictured here flanking Mrs. Tackett and Sen. Green, including daughters Erin and Sara Tackett. Tackett, who joined AmerenUE in 1993, was a resident of St. Charles, Missouri, where his family still lives. He was a Distribution Operating line worker based at the company’s Maryland Heights facility in St. Louis.
