Hundreds lined the path of the bigger and better than ever 24th year of the AmerenUE Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 27. Moving from the corner of Washington Avenue and North Broadway Blvd. through downtown St. Louis were dozens of bands and floats.
UE’s safety spokesbug, Louie the Lightning Bug was there in person and in the form of a balloon. Joining him was UE’s hybrid electric truck and spirited UE volunteers who handed out small keychain flash lights.
The theme of this year’s parade was “St. Louis Shining Stars” in salute to people whose efforts, prominent and not-so-prominent, made a difference in our great community.
