In recognition of Ameren’s “national leadership in caring for trees, while meeting service objectives,” the National Arbor Day Foundation has named Ameren a Tree Line USA Utility for the sixth consecutive year.
Ameren will pick up the honor at the Trees and Utilities National Conference, April 18-20, 2005, in Omaha, Neb.
The Arbor Day Foundation sponsors the Tree Line USA Program with the National Association of State Foresters to recognize utilities that meet three requirements: a program of quality tree care, annual worker training in quality tree care practices and a tree planting and public education program.
The National Arbor Day Foundation is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to tree planning and environmental stewardship.
