Scholarship Information 
 

    Ameren Illinois will award one, annually renewable, $2,500 scholarship every year to a minority graduating, high school senior accepted to an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States.     This scholarship supports students pursuing an associate degree in Engineering Science (transfer degree) and Engineering Technology programs at St. Louis Community College. Students from all four St. Louis Community College campuses are eligible for this scholarship, but most technical courses for these programs are only offered at the Florissant Valley campus.<br/><br/> The scholarship program provides up to $1,000 per semester for tuition, books and other fees per student. Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable each semester, up to four semesters of full-time enrollment (at least 12 credit hours), or 8 semesters of part-time enrollment (at least 6 credit hours) within four calendar years, provided that the student continues to meet the established criteria and the fund is still available. Up to ten scholarships are available each year.
     
    Ameren Illinois sponsors the program, College YES! - Youth Education Scholarships, which benefits current and future students at Manual High School in Peoria. Ameren Illinois is funding the scholarship and mentoring program in partnership with Manual High School and Illinois Central College (ICC) in East Peoria.
