How to Apply for a Grant
	To apply for an Ameren Illinois Utilities grant:
		Complete the application form: Application Form Note: The form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7 or later. If needed, download a reader here.
		Review the grant requirements and submit applicable documentation with your application:
		Applications under $5,000
			Cover letter that includes the amount of grant requested
			IRS determination letter certifying 501(c)(3) status
		Applications over $5,000
			Cover letter that includes the amount of grant requested
			IRS Form 990 for most recent fiscal year
			IRS determination letter certifying 501(c)(3) status
			Income/balance statements for most recent fiscal year (preferably audited)
			If the grant is for a specific project, provide detailed budget for project, including income and expenses
			List of Board members and executive officers, including titles and affiliations
			Most recent annual report or other literature summarizing programs
		Print and mail the application with the required documentation to Ameren Illinois Utilites:
				Corporate Contributions Ameren Illinois Utilities 300 Liberty Street Peoria, IL 61602-1404
			Grants are limited to organizations in the Ameren Illinois Utilities service area.
			Organizations must be tax-exempt as described in the Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to qualify for a grant.
			Individuals, political organizations or candidates, and religious, fraternal, veterans, social or similar groups generally do not qualify for a Ameren Illinois Utilities non-profit grant.
