Adopt-A-School
AmerenCILCO's Adopt-A-School Program provides technical assistance and in-kind contributions to address specific student needs in the communities it serves. The program involves participation between both the public and private sector of the community. Its objective is to enrich school programs by adequately using excellent resources available in each community.
Schools benefit by receiving resources that may not be available to their instructors and by students having first-hand experience with community leaders. This contact results in students developing more positive attitudes, learning better school attendance habits and earning higher grades.

Community organizations benefit by gaining an enhanced understanding of the education system and problems encountered by schools. In addition, there is a great deal of satisfaction for AmerenCILCO employees and all volunteers who assist in helping students develop into productive citizens and desirable employees.
