  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Tribute Corporate Leadership Award
    Tom Voss, chairman, president and CEO, Ameren, was awarded the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Tribute Corporate Leadership Award at a ceremony hosted by St. Louis University. Voss accepted the award on behalf of Ameren employees who have worked to make diversity and inclusion a part of Ameren's culture.
 
  • Corporate Philanthropy Award
    The Association of Fundraising Professionals, St. Louis Regional Chapter, awarded Ameren the 2013 Corporate Philanthropic Program Award. Warner Baxter, president and CEO, Ameren Missouri, accepted the award at a ceremony where Ameren received letters of support from organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation and SouthSide Early Childhood Center.
 
  • Variety Man of the Year Award
    Variety, the Children's Charity of St. Louis, named Tom Voss, chairman, president and CEO, Ameren, as its 2014 Man of the Year. "Tom inspires the next generation to break new ground and push society forward as Variety does,” says Jan Albus, CEO, Variety the Children’s Charity. "We admire how he works to improve the St. Louis business community and understands that strong businesses have a responsibility to support the non-profit community."
 
  • Top 7 Regional Utilities for Diversity
    DiversityInc Magazine has ranked Ameren fourth among utility companies in its 2013 DiversityInc Top 7 Regional Utilities list. The honor was announced at an awards ceremony in New York City. The ranking was based on consistent strength in four areas: CEO Commitment, Human Capital, Corporate and Organizational Communications and Supplier Diversity.
 
  • Leader in the Workplace
    Sharon Harvey Davis, vice president and chief diversity officer, was named one of the 2013 YWCA Leaders in the Workplace. Harvey Davis was recognized for diversity training, community partnerships, diversity recruitment, diversity communications and for participating in employee resource groups and the Corporate Diversity Council at Ameren. 
 
  • Nation's Top 25 Diversity Councils
    The Association of Diversity Councils recognized the top 25 organizational diversity councils in the U.S. with the Fourth Annual Diversity Council Honors Award. The ranking was based on demonstrated council results, demonstrated management commitment, measurement and accountability, communication and education. Ameren’s Diversity Council was ranked 16th in the nation. This is the fourth year that Ameren has been recognized and is the only Missouri-based company to make the list.
 
  • Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers
    G.I. Jobs magazine recognized Ameren for the fourth consecutive year as one of the top 100 military-friendly employers in the nation. The ranking reflects the strength of military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service and company policies toward National Guard and Reserve service.
 
  • Diversity Business Leader Award
    Steve Parks, director, Diversity, was honored as a 2013 recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal's Diverse Business Leader Award. Parks was recognized for his efforts in promoting diversity around race, sexual orientation and disability.
