Ameren has an expansive tree trimming and vegetation management program. The Ameren Vegetation Management department is responsible for administering vegetation management on nearly 70,000 miles of transmission and distribution rights-of-way. Ameren’s Vegetation Management personnel are arborists certified by the International Society of Arboriculture.
Ameren is recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation as a "Tree Line USA" utility company. This designation is awarded to utilities that properly train their tree trimming workers and assist customers in selecting appropriate trees to plant near the electric wires. More.
