In Dec. 2007, Ameren announced publication of a comprehensive report, which included details on how:
- Ameren companies have worked over the past two decades to cut power plant emissions in advance of regulatory mandates.
- Ameren intentions to address the need to reduce greenhouse gas (principally carbon dioxide) emissions.
- The company's efforts to balance social, economic and environmental factors with the need to deliver effective energy solutions.
