We’re working hard to provide for our customers today while propelling them – and our company -- forward. This means:

• Actively participating in the climate change conversation. Working with federal legislators to establish laws that both protect our customers and make meaningful steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Promoting energy efficiency programs that save customers money, conserve generating capacity and lessen the urgency to build new plants.
• Exploring opportunities to convert waste to energy. Methane to Megawatts is one example, and there are more.
• Taking a sensible approach to renewables. Being innovative and forward-thinking about alternative fuels and “green” generation, while also considering feasibility, reliability, and customer cost. Balance is key.
• Investing in infrastructure. Rebuilding, upgrading and expanding hundreds of miles of transmission lines, substations and cables along with other system improvements.
