Jay joined Ameren as a Computer Programmer and moved quickly into the role of EDP Analyst. Within 4 years Jay was an Applications Development Supervisor, progressing to his current position as the Manager of Application Development where he manages a team of over 50 Information Technology professionals. His team provides a myriad of package and custom built IT solutions for internal clients such as Generation, Energy Delivery, Inventory Control, and Power Trading and Marketing.
Sung joined Ameren as an Associate Analyst straight out of college in 2000. After a year he was promoted into an Intermediate Analyst role, becoming a Senior Analyst in 2005. During his time at Ameren Sung has worked on many projects, including as a project manager on an initiative to improve the customer interface with Ameren’s billing system. He has also been involved in multiple data and system conversions resulting from acquisitions and is excited about the opportunities he has at Ameren.
Toni joined Ameren in 1993 as an EDP Analyst. During her career she has worked on a variety of teams, including the project team to develop the Ameren Customer Service System. Toni has been promoted through Intermediate Analyst to Systems Specialist, and then into her current role as Applications Development Specialist II in the Energy Delivery department. Toni started her career with Ameren as a Union employee and later moved into a Management role. Asked why she loves her job at Ameren, Toni responds: “I enjoy working for Ameren because of the variety of career paths and opportunities for advancement. But, what I most enjoy is that Ameren is very involved in the community and encourages and supports employees to volunteer in the many organizations that are partnered with Ameren”.
