How it works
Budget Billing is based on your total energy usage during the previous year. This amount is divided into 12 equal amounts, which in turn becomes your baseline monthly payment.
When a payment amount changes
A review is preformed on the fourth and eight month after your enrollment in Budget Billing to help keep your payments levelized throughout the year. This helps keep the amount due (or credited) at the end of the year to a minimum.
During a review, we recalculate your payment based on actual usage. If the new amount is higher by $3 or more, the new amount becomes your new Budget Billing payment.
