We utilized the expertise of several local designers, builders and contractors to make the Ameren Solar Energy Project a reality.This helped provide local jobs within our service area and establish successful working relationships.
- Burns & McDonnell, a global engineering firm with offices in Chesterfield, Mo., designed the solar demonstration project.
- Cooper Bussmann, from Ellisville, Mo., and Cooper B-Line, from Highland, Ill., contributed to the project.
- Sachs Electric Company, an employee-owned electrical, communications and instrumentation contractor headquartered in Fenton, Mo., served as the prime contractor.
- In addition, many Ameren employees contributed to the solar project.
