AmerenUE participated in the St. Louis Science Center's first SciFest International Science Festival this fall by sharing information about energy efficiency, providing hands-on experiments at a multi-day festival that included a wide assortment of presentations, workshops and films designed to excite people about science. Shown here at the UE-sponsored exhibit is Muscle Power at It’s Best where a group of teens tries making electricity and illuminating the highest light on the tower!
Penny Robinson, Ameren Services, HR Compliance Specialist and Christine Terry, AmerenUE, Credit Advisor, promoted the value of avoiding phantom power waste—encouraging visitors to unplug those cell phone chargers, DVDs and other gear that waste energy 24 x 7 regardless of whether they are in use!
Another group of teens shows their girl power by cranking and lighting up the tower!
