Meet Louie the Lightning Bug!    Louie the Lightning Bug is Ameren’s safety spokesbug. Hatched in 1983, he is ready to share his important messages about electrical safety anyplace kids might be ― from school carnivals to town festivals and everyplace in-between! You can learn more about Louie by visiting the Electric Universe, a Web site that features fun games and fantastic facts about electricity for kids. The Electric Universe Web site is for teachers too ― resources include lesson plans and experiments for the classroom.
