Q.

Q.
What is the re-test policy?
A.
A “Recommended” score is considered a passing score and will remain valid as long as this test is used. Therefore once an applicant scores “Recommended,” he/she will not need to take the test again.
For those applicants who score “Not Recommended,” 90 days must elapse before they are eligible to re-test (and therefore they will not be eligible for the vacancy for which they tested).
Individuals may attempt to take the test a total of two times before a review process is enacted. After the second unsuccessful attempt to take the test, individuals must wait 18 months before being eligible to re-test, and they must demonstrate completion of significant developmental activities to warrant a re-test.
Developmental activities include, but are not limited to, taking college/technical courses, training classes or certification training, or having a significant change in job assignment that permits the applicant to assume more leadership/supervisory responsibilities.

A.
The hiring team will get a simple "Recommended" or "Not Recommended" result for each candidate.
Note: The Staffing department will also provide applicants with more extensive feedback regarding various skill areas and their respective strengths and the areas where there is a developmental need. Iindividual feedback will be mailed to the applicant’s home address.

Q.
What does the individual form entail?
A.
Applicants who have taken the First Line Supervisor test receive a five-page document that provides them with a general overview of the test, including a description of the skill areas of judgment (e.g., management skills, problem solving/decision making, etc.), work orientation and leadership. In addition, applicants receive feedback pertaining to the percentile range they performed in each of the skill areas (e.g., 75th-100th percentile in judgment).
