Marco Tipton

Marco currently serves as a Community Development Manager for Ameren Missouri. In this position, he successfully builds and maintains relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders within the St. Louis Metro area. A St. Louis native, he is deeply committed to improving the lives of the communities he serves through Economic Development, Electrification, and Renewable Energy.

Marco's ten-year tenure at Ameren has included three promotions and roles spanning from a Program Specialist of Energy Efficiency to a Community Development & Local Government Affairs leader, and now he is leading as a manager of executives. His experience includes inspiring energy advocacy, coordinating energy-efficient programs, and moderating educational events.

In addition to his professional experiences, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University where he strengthened his leadership and team-building skills as a division one football player. Additionally, his involvement in professional organizations, including serving on the board of the U.S. Green Building Council Missouri Chapter, has enabled him to effectively establish credibility with constituents, elected officials, and key decision-makers.
