Key Transition Dates

 

Review the following calendar of events so that you can understand how account activities will be affected during the blackout period. This calendar will help you plan for any transactions that you would like to make before the blackout period begins.

You can contact the Ameren Resource Center at 877.7my.Ameren or 877.769.2637 to ask questions about the transition and the new SIP enhancements.

Dec. 3–18, 2007

Online and face-to-face transition workshops will be held.

Dec. 18, 2007, 3 p.m. CST

Last day to pay off an existing loan at Benefits Express.
  
Paperwork for the following must be received in good order by Benefits Express:

Exchange (transfer) between investment options

 
   

Change your future contribution percentages

Last day to access and view your account balance at Your Benefits Resources (YBR).

Last day to contact Benefits Express for information regarding your SIP account by calling 888.768.3323.
  
Account balances will be valued after the close of the market, usually 3 p.m. CST.

After this date, you will no longer have access to Benefits Express for 401(k) information.

Your SIP assets will be invested in your current investment options.

Jan. 2, 2008

SIP assets are scheduled to be transferred to Fidelity. See Impact to my Investment Options.

SIP assets will be transferred to Fidelity in your current investment options on Jan. 2, 2008.

Week of
Jan. 6, 2008

Account balances in the Balanced Fund are scheduled to be transferred to one of the Target Retirement Date Funds, based on age.
  
The blackout period is expected to end and the Ameren Resource Center opens for all plan services.

The Balanced Fund assets will be invested in the new Target Retirement Date Funds during the week of Jan. 6, 2008.
  
You can now go to www.myAmeren.com or call the Ameren Resource Center at 877.7my.Ameren or 877.769.2637 for the following:

     

Request exchanges (transfers) among investment options

     

Review your account balances

     

Request loans, withdrawals, and distributions

     

Roll over eligible balances from another employer-sponsored plan

Jan. 2008

Final account statement from Benefit Express will be mailed.

Use this statement to ensure that your SIP balances transferred accurately from Hewitt to Fidelity.
  
Once the transition is complete, you may obtain an account statement through Fidelity for any time period you specify, beginning January 2, 2008, or later, upon request at www.myAmeren.com or calling the Ameren Resource Center at 877.7my.Ameren or 877.769.2637.
