As with other lighting, LEDs come in different color temperatures called Kelvin. The higher the Kelvin (K), the more blue the light. A traditional incandescent lamp has a rating of 2700K which is a warm more yellowish light. While the cost of LEDs is higher, they are already beginning to surpass the quality and efficiency of existing lighting technologies, such as fluorescent and incandescent.
How long will an LED light bulb last?
