Ameren Missouri’s commitment to investing in communities spreads farther than just power lines. Ameren Missouri has been actively contributing to the unique needs of programs and organizations in the communities we serve. See our
Connecting Missouri - Connecting Communities brochure.
The Ameren Charitable Trust was established in 1944 to serve as the principal source of Ameren Missouri’s investments in a variety of community projects. Since that time, more than $68 million has been contributed to thousands of community organizations and institutions. Funding for the Trust comes entirely from corporate earnings - it is not charged to customers as a business expense.
In keeping with our goal of enhancing the quality of life in the communities we serve, contributions support:
- Civic and cultural organizations
- Educational institutions and programs
- Senior citizen organizations
- Social services
- Youth activities
