General Service Energy Audit Improvements

Details
A rebate will be paid for the purchase and installation of specific cost effective natural gas energy saving equipment and building shell measures, as recommended from a customer's energy audit performed by a Qualified Auditor, and which are not included in other commercial natural gas measures listed in this Program. Audits must be performed by qualified professionals (Registered Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, Certified Energy Manager, or equivalent training, experience and continuing education). Audit procedures and reports must reach the level of effort of a Level II - Energy Survey and Analysis as described in the most recent edition of "Procedures for Commercial Building Energy Audits" published by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.

Measures considered efficiency improvements include:  ceiling insulation, wall insulation, air sealing measures and hot water measure kit. See rebate form for eligible measures and rebate amounts.

Improvements eligible for this rebate are result of a customer's completed 2014 comprehensive energy audit. A comprehensive blower door audit must be performed during the energy audit by a qualified auditor.

An audit must have been performed on or after Jan. 1, 2014, and not later than Dec. 31, 2014, to be eligible.

Customers must submit a copy of the auditor's comprehensive energy audit report along with receipts for products purchased in 2014. This rebate cannot be combined with other measures that are already offered under a different rebate category such as: ceiling and wall insulation, hot water measure kit, pre-rinse spray valve program, etc.
      Requirements - must include:
