Mr. Sullivan is responsible for the energy commodity company for non-rate-regulated generation, development and marketing companies, including Ameren Energy Marketing and Ameren Energy Generating.
Prior to this position, Mr. Sullivan was named senior vice president, governmental/regulatory policy, general counsel and secretary in October 2003. Starting in 1987, he served as an attorney in the Union Electric Company Legal Department. Before joining Union Electric, now named Ameren Missouri, he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. and the law firm of Kohn, Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis & Giljum.
Mr. Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree as well as a master's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, Mo., where he was graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a law degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and graduated with distinction.
Mr. Sullivan became passed the public accountant (first sitting) in 1982 and is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. |

Shawn E. Schukar

Shawn E. Schukar is senior vice president, Trading and Marketing, Ameren Energy Marketing. He oversees placement and optimization of AEM assets in the power markets, including strategies associated with market operations, trading and wholesale and retail marketing.
Prior to this position, he served as vice president of Strategic Initiatives in Corporate Planning and was vice president for Ameren Energy Inc. and Commercial RTO Operations for Ameren Services. Mr. Schukar joined the Ameren family as vice president, Energy Delivery Operations, for Illinois Power Company, now doing business as Ameren Illinois.
Mr. Schukar has held positions in power plant operations, power plant engineering, generation control, power trading, power marketing, retail pricing, risk management, transmission operations, transmission services, business planning, gas control and customer tariff management.
A licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois, Mr. Schukar earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering in 1983 and a master's degree in business administration in 1991 - both from the University of Illinois. |
