Preservation and Waste Management
Many of our energy centers are near lakes, rivers and acreage home to an assortment of wildlife. This area also provides outdoor recreational activities for boaters, anglers and hunters. We recycle coal combustion waste into beneficial uses and have voluntarily installed groundwater monitoring systems at five of our Illinois generating facilities.
