Stan Ogden is vice president of Customer Service and Metering Operations for Ameren Illinois. Ameren Illinois delivers energy to 1.2 million electric customers and 813,000 natural gas customers. Ogden oversees the activities of the Contact Center, Credit, Billing and Key Account areas in Peoria, Pawnee, and Decatur. He also oversees Metering Operations and Energy Efficiency activities in Illinois. The Energy Efficiency programs for Ameren Illinois were launched in 2008. Ogden joined Central Illinois Light Company (CILCO) in 1982, first working in the Corporate Communications Department. He advanced through various sales, customer service, economic development, rates and marketing positions. Prior to Ameren's acquisition of CILCO, he oversaw the Company's competitive retail sales activities throughout the state. For over ten years, Mr. Ogden has devoted his career to the customer service operations and was named vice president in September 2007.
Ogden has a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University. Mr. Ogden currently serves on three not-for-profit boards. He is a member of the board of directors for the Heart of Illinois United Way and the state-wide agency, the United Way of Illinois. In addition, he serves on the board of the Energy Assistance Foundation that provides bill payment assistance and home energy efficiency improvements through out the utility service territory. He has recently joined the Strategy Committee of the Institute for Electric Efficiency at the Edison Foundation.
