If you’re having trouble paying your home energy bill, help may be on the way. We offer several programs that provide bill-paying assistance and address the special needs of eligible low-income customers, senior citizens, disabled and customers with unique hardships.
Warm Neighbors Cool Friends
is funded by contributions from our customers and employees to help neighbors in need. We also make contributions to the Illinois Low Income Home Assistance Program (LIHEAP
), which is administered by the state to help fund heating and cooling assistance and home weatherization. Please contact us for more information.
We care about our customers, and are pleased to offer a number of energy assistance programs as part of the 2011 Energy Infrastructure Modernization Act (more
). Programs are available that provide bill credits and other benefits to the following customer groups:
- Eligible members of the military and disabled veterans (print application).
- Low-income customers on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP).
- Low-income seniors (65 or older).
- Non-profit organizations.
