Retail Electric Suppliers. More than a dozen third-party suppliers are available for residential customers and more than 20 for non-residential customers. For a list of certified retail electric suppliers, go to AmerenIllinois.com.

Government Aggregation. With voter approval, some Illinois towns and counties are arranging to purchase electricity supply on behalf of residential and small business customers within their borders.

Hourly Pricing. Some customers prefer to pay prices that change by the hour, so they can use electricity when prices are lowest. For more information about our enhanced hourly pricing program for residential customers, go to PowerSmartPricing.org or call 877.655.6028.

For customers who do not choose another provider, Ameren Illinois will continue to purchase power at a price obtained independently by the Illinois Power Agency.
