  • What is Landlord Direct?
    • Landlord Direct is a free service offered by Ameren to landlords and managers of rental property. A property manager or landlord can perform multiple billing functions online with Landlord Direct:<br><br> <ul> <li>Add or remove properties from your Landlord agreement</li> <li>Enter service orders to turn service on or off</li> <li>View and print consumption history for a location</li> <li>Receive e-mail alerts for Landlord Program properties</li> </ul>
     
  • Is there a cost to use Landlord Direct?
    • No. This is a free service offered by Ameren to landlords and managers of rental property. However, you must establish a unique UserID and Password for Landlord Direct
     
  • Who do I contact if I have additional questions about Landlord Direct?
    • You can call one of our representatives from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 800.487.5795.
     
  • What are the differences between Ameren's Landlord Program and Landlord Direct?
    • Ameren offers a Landlord Program that provides uninterrupted service and automatic billing for rental property owners. Many rental property owners use this program so that service is not interrupted when tenants move.<br><br> Rental property owners can also use Ameren's expanded online service called Landlord Direct. The rental property owner can go online to create a Landlord Direct UserID and Password. Once approved, landlords will receive an e-mail from Ameren enabling them to begin managing their premises online.<br><br> Landlords have the option of using the Landlord Program without utilizing Landlord Direct.
     
  • Can I set up any type of property on Landlord Direct?
    • All residential and commercial properties are eligible for Landlord Direct. However, you will not be able to perform the following tasks for commercial properties: <br><br> <ul> <li>Issue turn off</li> <li>Issue turn on</li> </ul>
     
  • My rental property is serviced by two different Ameren operating companies. Can I place both bill accounts on one landlord agreement?
    • Due to regulatory issues, our system does not allow Landlord Agreements across companies. This means your rental property that is serviced by multiple operating companies (electric and gas) will need separate Landlord agreements for each service.
     
  • Why does the "View Consumption History" not list all of the history for the entire period?
    • Consumption History is based on the date the premise was added to your Landlord Agreement. If you select a date prior to the date of your Landlord Agreement, the consumption history for that time will not be available.
