Yes - if you signed up to receive e-mails, Ameren will send you an e-mail whenever a service order is issued to disconnect a meter for non-payment.
Why can't I issue a turn on order for a new tenant?
Before issuing a turn on order for a new tenant, you must issue a turn off order for the existing tenant and enter a forwarding address for the final bill.
Why does a new tenant need to call Ameren to apply for service?
Your tenant may need to call Ameren before you can enter an online order for one of the following reasons:

The tenant has an inactive, delinquent bill with Ameren.

The tenant's current Ameren account is in collection status.

The tenant's name does not match the Social Security Number provided.

The premise may be flagged in Ameren's system with a meter problem, such as meter tampering or hazardous conditions.

How far in advance can I enter a turn on order?
You can issue a turn on order up to 60 days in advance.
How do I stop or change the date I originally entered for a turn off or turn on order?
