Warm Neighbors Cool Friends Qualifications

The purpose of the Warm Neighbors Cool Friends (WNCF) Program is to provide home weatherization and heating bill payment assistance for people facing the loss of their heating supply. To qualify for funding, applicants must be an Ameren Illinois customer. The program runs from January 1 through December 31.
To qualify:

- Applicant must reside at address on bill and have active service in his or her name.
- Applicant can only receive assistance once per heating and cooling season (2 times per calendar year).
- Must have written documentation of personal or family crisis.
- Program targeting only customer between 150-200% of poverty, special exceptions approved by WNCF Executive Director.
- No bills over $750.
- Matching payments up to $350.
