When you generate solar power you can sell the solar renewable energy credits (SRECs) to Ameren Missouri. We use the SRECs we purchase from you to comply with requirements of the Missouri Renewable Energy Standard (Prop C).
We will pay an upfront, lump sum amount to assist you in offsetting installation costs, if you install a nameplate capacity of less than 10 kilowatts (kW). The contract allows us to purchase SRECs from your renewable system for 10 years.
For systems with a nameplate capacity of 10kW up to 100 kW, we can offer you a contract agreement to purchase SRECs for 10 years through annual payments.
