Upper reservoir filled - 2010
Ameren Missouri’s pumped-storage Taum Sauk Pumped-Storage Hydroelectric plant is at full generating capacity and ready to meet the power needs of Ameren Missouri customers during times of peak demand.
The photos below show the new upper reservoir, which was built using more than three million cubic yards of roller-compacted concrete and more than three million man-hours of labor from over 1,000 workers.
