  Michael G. Mueller
VP, Energy Management & Trading

Michael G. Mueller is vice president of Energy Trading and Fuels Commodities for Ameren Missouri. In this position, he is responsible for energy trading and the procurement and transportation of all coal, natural gas and oil for Ameren Missouri. He is also responsible for the management of emissions, coal combustion by-products (CCPs) businesses and other fuel related development efforts, including the development of Ameren Missouri’s Renewables program.

Mr. Mueller joined AmerenUE (formerly known as Union Electric Company) in 1986 as an engineer in Corporate Planning. In 1988, he became a fuel buyer in the Fossil Fuel Department and in 1994 was named senior fuel buyer. In September 1998, Mr. Mueller became director of coal trade for Ameren Corporation’s independent energy marketing affiliate, AmerenEnergy. In January 1999, Mr. Mueller was named manager of the Fossil Fuel Department and in 2000 was promoted to vice president. He became president of Ameren Fuels and Services in 2004 before presiding in his current position.

Mr. Mueller earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri - Rolla and MBA from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.
       

 

Jaime Haro
Senior Director, Asset Management & Trading

Jaime Haro is senior director of Asset Management & Trading for Ameren Missouri. He specializes in energy management and financial hedging. Mr. Haro joined Ameren in 1998 and has worked in different capacities on the trade floor. As a director with over fifteen years of experience in the financial markets, Mr. Haro oversees Ameren Missouri’s trade floor, long-term marketing efforts, and power operations, as well as creates, manages and implements business plans, budgets, trading portfolios and strategies.

Mr. Haro holds a Bachelors of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from the University Panamericana (1994) in Mexico City, and a Masters in Business Administration from Tulane University (1998).
