Mike Mueller
Vice President, Economic Development
Michael G. Mueller has over 34 years of energy experience with Ameren Corporation. In September 2018, Mike was named Vice President, Economic Development, Ameren Illinois, responsible for leading development efforts that support business attraction/expansion, community development, natural gas development, electrification and management of large commercial and industrial customer relations. Prior to this position he served as Vice President in various capacities within Ameren, primarily focused on Generation, Fuels & Services and Customer Relations.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla in 1986 and acquired an MBA from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in 1992. Mike recently completed over 14 years of board and committee service with United Way and has served on the boards of several other charitable organizations throughout his career.
A native and resident of southwestern Illinois, Mike and his wife Cookie have three children and three grandchildren.
