Vice President, Engineering Design and Project Management – Ameren Missouri
Christopher (Chris) leads Ameren Missouri's centralized engineering and project management organization, overseeing the company's large infrastructure investment portfolio. In his more than 20 years of experience at Ameren, Stumpf has held various leadership positions in engineering and project management. He contributed to Ameren Missouri's Smart Energy Plan, a grid modernization portfolio. Under his leadership, a strategic plan was developed and implemented that included establishing a project management office, capital governance process, category management system, and a detailed five-year budget.
Before joining Ameren, Stumpf worked as an engineer in the energy division at Burns & McDonnell.
Stumpf holds an Associate of Arts degree from St. Charles County Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is a licensed professional engineer in Missouri and holds a Project Management Professional certification.
