Ameren Missouri Senior Vice President Power Operations and Energy Management
Christopher A. Iselin is senior vice president of Ameren Missouri Power Operations and Energy Management, where he is responsible for the safe and reliable operations of 15 separate coal, natural gas, hydro and solar generation facilities. In addition, he is responsible for energy trading and the management of plant emissions, coal combustion byproducts, and all non-nuclear generation maintenance and capital projects.
Iselin joined Ameren in 1981 as an engineer at the Meramec Energy Center. Later, he transferred to the Labadie Energy Center, where he worked in positions of increasing responsibility, including engineering supervisor, operations manager and maintenance manager. In 1994, Iselin was promoted to director of Personnel, Safety and Training for Ameren Missouri’s generation group. In 2006, he was promoted to vice president of Human Resources Business Services, and in 2008 transferred to Ameren’s merchant generating division as vice president of Generation and Engineering. Four years later he was promoted to senior vice president and president of Electric Energy, Inc., a subsidiary generating company. Upon Ameren’s divestiture of the merchant generating division in 2013, he was appointed senior vice president of Ameren’s Corporate Operations Oversight function.
Iselin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Reactor Technology Program.
