- The Midcontinent ISO region covers power transmission in all or parts of Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
- The PJM Interconnection (Pennsylvania, Jersey, Maryland Power Pool) region covers power transmission in all or parts of Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
- The SPP (Southwest Power Pool) region covers power transmission in all or parts of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
- The SERC (Southeastern Electric Reliability Corporation) region covers all or parts of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Andrew Meyer
Director, Ameren Missouri Energy Management & Trading
Andrew Meyer is director of Energy Management & Trading for Ameren Missouri. Meyer joined Ameren's independent marketing affiliate in 1999. These functions were assumed by Ameren Missouri, where he has worked in several different capacities on the trade floor and in RTO stakeholder relations. In his current position, Meyer is responsible for energy trading, financial hedging, real-time power operations, and the procurement and transportation of all coal, nuclear fuel, natural gas, and fuel oil for the Ameren Missouri generation fleet. In addition to overseeing these activities, Meyer also creates and implements generation hedging strategy, budgets, and trading portfolios.
Meyer earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration (Management Emphasis) and Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He was employed by Continental Grain Co. prior to joining Ameren.
