School Presentations Focused on Kids and Energy

Energy is critical to the future of our planet. Through our Kids' Corner presentations, we provide students a better understanding of safety around electricity and the role energy plays in our future.

Kid Power

It's never too early to start learning about energy: what it is, why it's important, how to use it and even what careers are available in the energy industry. That's why we are actively involved with schools through the Ameren Missouri service territory. In this presentation kids will learn through interactive videos about:

Safety with Electricity
How Power Travels
What Causes the Power to Go Out

Safety City

Safety City is geared toward students in K-6th grade. Through this interactive presentation, students learn to recognize potential dangers. Safety City begins with a brief video explaining how power gets from an energy center to a home or business. Then, using a model of an energized city, students experience real-life situations of what can happen when someone comes in contact with electricity. This presentation can be modified for older students and adults.

Please submit an online request form to book a speaker, free-of-charge.

Include the date, time and location of the event.
Presentations can be made Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at locations within Ameren Missouri's service territory.
Confirmation will be forwarded to the contact person listed in the request form.
