Motor Controls/Variable Frequency Drives
Ameren Missouri is here to help you mitigate your motor system(s) energy loses, which could be as much as 55% of your energy inputs. By installing motor controls/variable frequency drives (VFDs), you can adjust your motor speed to serve your needs in the most efficient manner. If you do not need your motor to run continuously, or at maximum output, install a VFD so that you're no longer paying for energy you are not using. Ameren Missouri offers cash incentives to help offset the cost of installing VFDs on your motor powered devices - such as pumps, fans, compressors and exhaust hoods.

Whole Building Performance/Retro-Commissioning Incentives (RCx)
Retro-Commissioning (RCx) is the process of optimizing systems within your building and requires an extensive facility assessment to explore energy-saving opportunities. RCx is a good solution for large buildings. The program pays $.02-.03 per kWh for the assessment (depending on size of the building), in addition to $.07 per kWh saved on all RCx projects.

Get Started! You must use a pre-approved RCx service provider (RSP), so contact an RSP to get started today.
