Solar Partnership Program
Ameren Missouri is expanding the ways safe, reliable, affordable and cleaner energy is delivered across the state. One innovation is the creation of partnerships with businesses and other non-residential customers to locate an Ameren Missouri-owned solar generation facility on their property.
Who Can Apply
The opportunity is open to all Ameren Missouri electric non-residential customers who own buildings or land with available space. All applicants will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. At a minimum, applicants must be:
- A non-residential customer
- Within the Ameren Missouri service territory
- In good standing with Ameren Missouri
Solar panels can be installed in a variety of locations that would otherwise go unused. Good sites include roof-tops, parking lots or open fields. Once customers show interest in participating in the program, engineers at Ameren Missouri will look at a number of factors to consider whether the customer's property is a good fit. Factors include:
- Ample space to install panels
- An unobstructed, south-facing view of the sky
- Proximity to existing Ameren Missouri infrastructure, like a substation or high voltage power lines
Sites in a flood plain will not be a good fit for this program. Ameren Missouri, at its sole discretion, shall determine whether a customer meets the requirements of this program.
