Metro South Reliability Project
Ameren Missouri is rebuilding approximately 10 miles of 138,000-volt transmission line in St. Louis County and in the City of St. Louis.
About the Project
The line will be rebuilt on existing right-of-way and will connect the Watson Substation to the Lemay Substation, and cross the Mississippi River to a final destination in Dupo, Illinois. The rebuilt line will improve grid reliability, meet local energy needs, and promote cleaner energy sources. The project is proposed to be in service by Winter 2022.
