Powering Long‑Term Growth for Eldon and Central Missouri

Quaker Windows & Doors’ Eldon expansion brings new jobs and investment to central Missouri, backed by the reliable energy communities count on.

Quaker Windows & Doors recently announced another expansion of its Eldon campus, adding 300,000 square feet to its facilities and creating approximately 100 new jobs. This newest phase builds on Quaker Windows & Doors’ long‑standing commitment to Missouri and follows earlier investments of more than $30 million that significantly expanded manufacturing capacity and supported hundreds of new, high‑quality jobs.

Those efforts have been driven by close collaboration among Ameren Missouri, the City of Eldon and the Missouri Department of Economic Development, demonstrating what’s possible when public and private partners work together. For instance, the company was one of the first to take advantage of economic development incentives in Ameren Missouri’s Smart Energy Plan. Ameren Missouri has also supported the expansion efforts by upgrading local infrastructure, benefiting the greater Eldon community with more reliable energy delivery.

Strong collaboration across Ameren Missouri teams also played a key role in keeping the project moving forward smoothly. The economic development, account executive, Central Missouri Division engineering, and regulatory service teams worked closely together to ensure clear communication and alignment every step of the way. That collaboration helped coordinate unique solutions quickly, including deploying a mobile substation to support the project’s additional electric load until the permanent substation upgrade is complete at the end of 2026.

This partnership was recently recognized on a national stage when Quaker Windows & Doors received a Community Impact (CiCi) Award from Trade & Industry Development magazine. The award honors economic development projects that deliver meaningful investment and lasting community impact. Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe presented the award during a celebration at the company’s Eldon campus.

This latest investment marks the company’s third expansion in Eldon since opening its campus and reinforces central Missouri’s role as a hub for advanced manufacturing. As Quaker Windows & Doors continues to expand its operations and workforce, Ameren Missouri remains committed to providing the reliable service businesses need to grow and compete.

Investments like this help strengthen local communities, create opportunity for Missourians and power long‑term economic success across the state.
