Ameren recieved a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The index rates American workplaces on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.

Ameren was named one of the 50 Best Companies for Diversity by Black Enterprise magazine. In its rankings, Black Enterprise magazine identifies corporations that are the best in developing a culture and policies that promote inclusion of African Americans within the workforce, senior management ranks, corporate boards and supplier pools. Ameren was the only Missouri-based company to make the list.
  Top Company in the 2016 Disability Equality Index Survey

The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and the US Business Leadership Network® (USBLN®) have named Ameren Corporation a top-scoring company in the 2016 Disability Equality IndexSM (DEISM) survey. Ameren was one of 42 companies who received 100 out of 100 points on the survey by displaying significant leadership in implementing disability inclusion policies and practices.

DiversityInc ranks Ameren Corporation first in the United States on its 2016 listing of the nation’s top utilities for diversity. This is the sixth consecutive year Ameren has been recognized among the top utilities for creating an inclusive workplace, reaching diverse customers and having strong supplier diversity.
