Spoon River Transmission Line Project

Process

We gathered input from area residents, community leaders, landowners, and other stakeholders during the routing process prior to building a new transmission line. We hosted public open houses in each affected county to facilitate information gathering.

We carefully considered the input we received as we developed proposed routes for the new transmission line. We paid special attention to siting sensitivities identified through the public meetings, as well as siting opportunities. We also considered such factors as cost and design.
