Because electric vehicle charging equipment is a relatively new technology, Ameren Missouri recommends that customers purchase from reputable retailers or suppliers. Visit AmerenMissouri.com/EV to locate recommended installers or types of equipment.
Customers may use their preferred contractors for installation of charging stations. Ameren Missouri intends to develop a list of "Trade Ally" contractors that understand the program and the safety and practical considerations regarding EV charging station installation, but will not require use of these Trade Allies. Once Trade Allies have been established, they will be listed on AmerenMissouri.com/EV under "Resources."
Yes, the customer/owner determines if they want to charge a fee for access to the chargers and, if so, what the fees will be.
