Keeping Current

A payment assistance program that helps make paying your energy bill more affordable. It includes a monthly bill credit, along with help to reduce the total amount you owe.

Keeping Cool

This program provides up to five bill credits of $50 from May through September. Eligible customers include senior citizens, those with children under 5, or who have a documented chronic medical condition or a disability.

Who can participate?

Complete the application, print it, and use our zip code finder to locate an agency near you who will help you submit your application. Program benefits last for two years. Eligible customers may participate in either program, but not both at the same time.

The income guidelines are up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level for the Keeping Current Program and 250% for the Keeping Cool Program. Keeping Cool runs from May to September. Keeping Current runs all year, and the latest program changes are effective September 2023. See the income table below.
